I started this piece in 2020, but I kept putting off the inks and colors because it seemed too daunting, particularly since I used every circle template and French curve I own. I didn’t want to mess it up, so I kept delaying. I finally picked it up again a few months ago and made myself try, repeatedly reminding myself that if I do mess it up, I can always make another one. It turned out to be way easier than I imagined, and so much fun. Twelve -year-old me is very happy.
